Shawnee Trail is a landmark 150-acre master-planned development located at the critical intersection of Preston Road and the future Collin County Outer Loop. Developed by Trademark Property Company in partnership with G-Man Development, the project is designed as a “village-style” mixed-use destination that blends major regional retail with urban-style residential, dining, and public gathering spaces. Anchored by the city’s first Walmart Supercenter, the district is themed to honor the historic Shawnee Trail cattle route, integrating modern commerce with Celina’s deep-rooted heritage.

Walmart Supercenter Grand Opening: The 200,000 sqft. anchor is officially scheduled to open on April 29, 2026, establishing an immediate retail magnet for the entire North Texas region.
Strategic Transit Connectivity: Situated at the future “hard corner” of the Collin County Outer Loop, ensuring high-capacity access for commuters traveling between the Dallas North Tollway and US-75.
Phase 1 Mixed-Use Breaking Ground: Following the Walmart opening, the broader first phase, incorporating lifestyle retail, entertainment, and multifamily residential, is slated to break ground in 2027.
Community-Centric Design: The master plan includes significant green space, walking trails, and water features, moving away from traditional power-center layouts toward a walkable “third space” environment.
